It was tense as hell having to fight this monstrosity with a guy on death's door for like a third of the fight.
He opened up with a massive crit and put my poor Flag on deaths door right off the bat. Hats off to the developers for a job well done. The boss battles in this dungeon are pretty damn epic. Light 26-50: 50 chance of 1 bonus reward. Light 51-75: 25 chance of 1 bonus reward. Battle bonuses: (gold or gems) Light 76-100: 0 chance of bonus reward. It is a grueling marathon of a dungeon that is about 5 times longer than a normal long dungeon and there are several "mini" bosses along the way that are as strong as a normal boss would be. It will be calculated independently of any predetermined loot (it will always be gold or gems for battles, but can be anything for curios). Just a word of advice for those planning to do the Baron, go in armed to the teeth with your best and brightest if you are planning to do it in one shot. Hopefully this topic will help others in the same situation. I went in assuming they didn't and I can certainly confirm that face tanking those traps is brutal and enemies certainly can be surprised. So I got impatient and stormed into the Baron's dungeon before all you kind and informative people left me posts telling me that scouting trinkets do in fact matter.
